I am a landscape archaeologist specializing in the recent prehistory of the Mediterranean, with a main focus on the northern Adriatic. My research examines paleo-environments, settlement patterns, economic strategies, and community responses to environmental change. I apply a multiscalar/multidisciplinary approach integrating remote sensing, geoarchaeological fieldwork, GIS, and palynology. I have participated and co-directed field projects in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Iraq, and Oman.
